The School District of Mauston and St. Pat's receive federal Title funding. The poverty level of students in our schools determine the amount of funding received each year:
- Title I, Part A makes possible teachers for additional services to support interventions for struggling learners. There are two types of funding:
- When a school qualifies for Schoolwide services, all students are eligible to receive the additional instruction, based on academic need. West Side Elementary, Grayside Elementary and Lyndon Station Elementary schools qualify as Schoolwide schools.
- Targeted Assistance services make it possible to provide the same benefits but only to selected students based on academic need. St. Pat's is a Targeted Assistance school.
- Public ESSA and district summary reports are posted on WISEdash Public.
- To navigate WISEdash Public, select dashboards>ESSA Overview>Filter for the District and Year>click on the page after selecting a district in the filter>Scroll down to Student Performance Data and select ESSA Accountability Reports. OR Select the Quick-Start button OR Select User Help.
- Required Your Right to Know information is posted here.
- Report Card for Every Student - You have a right to now how well you child is progressing. Schools that operate Title I, part A programs must generate a report card for every student that explains how well that student scored on the state assessment in, at least, reading, English language arts and mathematics.
- State Report Cards - The Office of Public Instruction - Wisconsin's education agency - publishes a State Report Card online. To view these Report Cards see: DPI School & District Report Cards
